We offer a wide range of services, and our vets and nurses will consult with you on how best to design any treatment your pet may need around their specific case, to ensure the best possible results. 

We believe in complete transparency when it comes to prices, and we like to back this up with open communication – so if you have any questions, please ask!

Vaccinations

Dogs and cats require regular vaccinations to protect them from potentially fatal but entirely preventable diseases. After an initial course of vaccinations, they will also need yearly boosters to maintain their protection. All of our primary vaccination courses include a nose to tail health check both at the time of the vaccination with one of our vets and six months after with a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Dental care

Dental health is a crucial aspect of keeping your pet healthy, and we recommend that they are checked by one of our team on a regular basis. That is why we offer dental checks as a free service to our clients. As many conditions are progressive, early identification is important. Our price reflects the needs of individual cases – with variables of blood tests, general anaesthetics, fluids, medication and if extractions are needed.

Neutering

Neutering* is the removal of reproductive organs from your pet and can have behavioural and health benefits, as well as preventing unwanted litters. It is referred to as castration in males and spaying in females.

Prices FAQs – Burford Lane Vets, Lymm

How much is a standard vet consultation at Burford Lane Vets?

A standard vet consultation costs £56. Re-examinations are £45 and veterinary nurse consultations are £22.

What is included in the puppy and kitten vaccination courses?

Our puppy and kitten vaccination courses include a full nose to tail health check with a vet at the time of vaccination and a follow-up health check with a registered veterinary nurse six months later.

How much do annual booster vaccinations cost?

Annual booster vaccinations for dogs and cats cost £59. Cat boosters include protection against feline leukaemia.

Do you offer rabbit vaccinations and how much do they cost?

Yes, we offer the RDH2 rabbit vaccination which costs £68.

How much does dental treatment cost for cats and dogs?

Dental treatment prices start from £350 for both cats and dogs. The final cost depends on your pet’s individual needs including blood tests, anaesthesia, fluids, medication and whether extractions are required.

Do you provide estimates for dental extractions?

Yes, if dental extractions are required we will always provide a clear estimate before any work is carried out.

How much does neutering cost at Burford Lane Vets?

Neutering prices vary depending on your pet’s species, sex and weight. Dog castration and spaying prices are based on weight bands, while cats and rabbits have fixed starting prices. Complicated neutering procedures will be discussed with you in advance.

What is included in the neutering price?

Neutering prices reflect the procedure itself and the care your pet receives. If additional treatment or monitoring is needed we will discuss this openly with you beforehand.

Why do some treatments not have a fixed price?

Some treatments vary because every pet and every case is different. Factors such as size, age, health status and treatment complexity all influence the final cost. Our team will always talk you through options and pricing before proceeding.
