We are looking for a full-time veterinary surgeon to join our lovely and experienced team that consists of 2 outstanding experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 3 supportive RVNs, 2 experienced Receptionists and a kind Practice Manager.

The ideal vet would have interests in medicine and surgery, which would be supported within the practice. Also a team player with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient and client care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly veterinary nurse or second year student nurse to join our growing, new, independent small animal training practice.

We opened in September 2021, based at a beautiful location in Lymm in Cheshire. We are fully equipped with new, state-of-the-art equipment and geared up for breeding work and orthopaedic surgery. You’ll be supported by a highly experienced veterinary team whose focus is to help you be the best that you can be –  our excellent vets are amongst the best in the North West. We are open to seeing all small animals and are provided with a varied and interesting case load. In January we’ll receive accreditation from the ISFM as a Cat Friendly Clinic.

The role would be for a qualified veterinary nurse or 2nd year SVN to work a 37.5 hour week (one day released to go to college if required). Full time is preferred but we can be flexible with hours for the right person.

We’re looking for a receptionist to help us to achieve just that, setting high standards for our front of house area. If you are an enthusiastic, driven individual with excellent communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and are passionate about pets and people, we want to hear from you.

Previous veterinary experience in a busy reception environment managing phone calls is beneficial as are good organisational and IT skills, and the ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Full time position working a 37.5 hour week 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday plus 1 in 6 Saturday morning’s from 9am to 12pm.
